Microcrystalline graphite fiber paper is a high-performance nanocomposite material made from nanoscale microcrystalline graphite fibers (diameter ≤10 microns, containing highly oriented graphite microcrystalline structures) through wet forming and high-temperature carbonization/graphitization (≥2800°C). It features high thermal conductivity (in-plane thermal conductivity ≥1000 W/(m·K)), excellent electrical conductivity (electrical conductivity >10⁵ S/m), low density (0.1–0.3 g/cm³), high-temperature resistance (stable up to 3000°C for long periods), and corrosion resistance. The surface is smooth and flexible, with strong machinability, combining the lubricity of flexible graphite with the high strength of graphite fibers. It is used as a high-end thermal/electrical interface material (such as chip heat sinks, battery electrodes), high-temperature insulation and shielding layers, and electromagnetic shielding materials, suitable for applications in aerospace, new energy, and electronic information fields requiring lightweight, highly thermally and electrically conductive materials.
