Micro- and nanoscale LIC (Li₃InCl₆) halide solid electrolytes, thanks to their ultra-small particle size, offer excellent interfacial contact and ion conduction efficiency, exhibiting performance far superior to ordinary particle-sized products in the field of all-solid-state batteries. Their preparation processes, core characteristics, and application performance all have outstanding advantages. They have high ion conduction efficiency, and the ultra-small particle size reduces grain boundary obstacles during lithium ion transport. With a low lithium vacancy migration barrier of 0.26 eV, they facilitate lithium ion movement, far exceeding the level of ordinary halide electrolytes. They demonstrate significant advantages in high-rate long cycling and strong adaptability to high-loading scenarios, suitable for various battery architectures.
