Industrial-grade 13X molecular sieve is a sodium-type aluminosilicate crystalline material (chemical formula: Na₂O·Al₂O₃·2.8SiO₂·6.2H₂O, or an improved calcium-sodium composite formula). It belongs to the 10Å (1 nanometer) large-pore zeolite molecular sieve category, featuring a three-dimensional cubic crystal microporous structure with a pore size of approximately 10 Å (1.0 nanometer). It can adsorb gases or small molecules with diameters less than 10 Å (such as nitrogen, oxygen, methane, carbon dioxide, etc.) and exhibits extremely high affinity and preferential adsorption capacity for water molecules (diameter approximately 2.8 Å). This material usually appears as white spherical or cylindrical granules, with a bulk density of 0.60 - 0.70 g/ml, a specific surface area of ≥800 m²/g, a pore volume of ≥0.35 cm³/g, and a static water adsorption capacity of ≥25% (25°C, RH100%). It features a high specific surface area, large pore volume, strong adsorption selectivity, and excellent regeneration stability, making it specially used for deep drying of industrial gases and liquids, removal of carbon dioxide, removal of hydrocarbon impurities, and air purification.
