产品:CdSb thermoelectric material

Detailed

CdSb (cadmium antimonide) thermoelectric material is an IV-VI compound semiconductor nanomaterial (bandgap approximately 0.2–0.5 eV), composed of Cd and Sb elements. It has a moderate Seebeck coefficient (~100–200 μV/K), tunable electrical conductivity, and relatively low thermal conductivity (which can be significantly reduced through nanostructure engineering). It exhibits good thermoelectric performance in the temperature range of 300–700 K. Through nanostructuring (such as nanocrystals, nanowires, and superlattice structures), phonons can be effectively scattered, reducing lattice thermal conductivity while maintaining high carrier mobility. Its nanostructure design (such as doping, defect engineering, and low-dimensionalization) can optimize carrier concentration and phonon transport, thereby enhancing the thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT). It is mainly applied in medium-temperature thermoelectric power generation (such as industrial waste heat recovery and solar thermoelectric conversion) and solid-state cooling, and is a medium-temperature thermoelectric material with potential for high conversion efficiency.
