Wound dressings play a crucial role in the management and healing of all types of wounds, from minor cuts and chronic ulcers to severe burns. However, traditional dressings are often compromised by issues such as a tendency to stick and inadequate barrier function. These limitations highlight the urgency of research into innovative wound dressings. This study used electrospinning technology to composite polycaprolactone and polyvinylpyrrolidone into a bilayer film. Different functional components—linalool, black phosphorus, and triclosan—were added to each layer to produce antibacterial and photothermal conversion effects, thereby meeting the use standards for wound dressings.Due to differences in the hydrophilicity of the materials, the bilayer film exhibits a certain interfacial energy difference between its two sides, allowing liquids to be discharged from one side to the other. The results show that the prepared bilayer possesses excellent antibacterial effects and good biocompatibility, as well as outstanding photothermal effects and unidirectional hydrophobicity. The currently obtained multifunctional composite film has been successfully prepared by integrating properties such as antibacterial activity, photothermal effect, and asymmetric wettability, providing a new approach for the development of wound dressings.
